As a part of the Spa Week Sneak Peak, I had the opportunity to try the Rooibos Antioxidant Organic Facial Treatment with Head Massage at the Whole Health Medspa in Alexandria, Virginia.  Never having experienced a facial before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, except the green mask you see in movies.

But, once I met Tysha, I was instantly put at ease.  She carefully explained the different steps to a facial: the Eucalyptus Cleanse, the Hydrating Mist, the Rosehip Exfoliating Mask, the Mandarin & Rooibos Antioxidant Mask, the Stone Crop Serum, the Moisturizer, and the Eye Cream and Lip Balm to end.  I bet you didn’t know there were so many parts to a facial, did you?

I was amazed that they also tailor your facial to what would be best for your skin – they offer an array of different products for the dry, oily, acne, or normal skin.  And, each of their Eminence products are handmade from organic Hungarian ingredients of herbs and fruits.  It was a terrific way to be introduced into the world of facials, and my skin is still soft and smooth from the care it received.  I would highly recommend asking for Tysha, if you ever visit the Whole Health Spa – she is so friendly and knowledgeable; and, especially if you’re going for your first facial, she will completely set you at ease!

Ten years ago, after becoming nearly immobile from pain caused by arthritis in my knee, I had surgery.  Not only did the pain in that knee return, but I began experiencing severe pain and cramps in both my knees, legs, feet, and toes. It wasn’t unusual for me to take up to eight ibuprofen tables each day.

I am very impressed by the service in Whole Health Medical Center. The location is good, easy to find and plenty of parking. Staffs are friendly and patient. The light pleasant smell inside is very soothing!

I had 60 minutes deep tissue massage by CMT/MMT Glenn Low. I am very satisfied every time. I feel so relieved from my pain and so relaxed at the same time, of course. He knows the trigger points very well and is able to treat the problem part accurately.  My favorite part is he applies the different pressure during the massage which is the skill that not all the massage therapist can apply.  I definitely will go back to Whole Health, and maybe try some of their other services too.

Whole Health Medical Center is just FABULOUS   Both my husband, our adult daughter and myself see Glenn & cannot say enough wonderful things about him & the Center.

I have multiple long term complex medical issues and Glenn has been able to not only locate the more subtle issues … he has been able to truly give me results & relief for the first time in 12 years.

I purchased the LivingSocial Deal for the acupunture because I have been having so much anxiety and heard that acupunture helps.. I liked getting the deal cause it was a first time and wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest the money…. but I loved it. I have been sleeping so much better and now got back twice a month for the treatment. The place is clean and well worth the money.
